“Democracy is not just the right to vote, it is the right to live in dignity.”

Naomi Klein

“Extreme violence has a way of preventing us from seeing the interests it serves.”

“The parties with the most gain never show up on the battlefield.”

The weaponization of water is legal in the MOST DEMOCRATIC STATE in the US.

Cuz democrats are dogmatics who refuse to hold their own accountable - just like republicans.

Now... for any well discerning *pleeb, allowing billionaires to exploit water is a bad thing.

Yet... what Naomi Klein calls "disaster capital" - Wonderful Pistachio owners (the Resnick's) call ordinary profit and the natural consequence to capitalism.

Drought and war are not profit opportunities - in a society built upon human dignity.

Yet, this is exactly what the Resnick's and too many billionaire families are doing.

Profiting - in one way or another - from the suffering of others.

Through the Kern Water Bank (taxpayer funded) and the Monterey Amendments - the Resnicks have full access to water during a drought, and in the process are selling the life-giving water back to the taxpayers who funded it - at an elevated price.

While other people's farms suffer - the Resnick's water intensive crops (almonds and pistachios) keep thriving.

Ironically, Iran previously held the title of 'Worlds' Top Pistachio Producer' - until US sanctions allowed the Resnick family to take the lead.

Now... is it a coincidence Israel struck Rafsanjan - a key pistachio growing region?  Their $2.4 million in donations would argue it's anything but... as war and sanctions continue to strengthen their monopoly.

The Resnick family benefits from drought and war - from other people's suffering.

Will you continue to purchase their products?  Will you continue to support their exploitation of taxpayers AND the environment?

Titles don't make people decent human beings - actions do.

Your actions are what define you.

Spend them wisely.

Namaste,
The Storyteller

    Education
    Matters

Anyone keeping current on both education and the STEM industries will notice that BOTH are at a crossroads in history.

In order to carry on our legacy of exploration and discovery we will need to face the corruption and systematic limits that have held education back for decades.

Kids today are graduating High School without basic math and English skills, despite the fact that most are capable of so much more.

In almost every way education has been set up to limit exceptionalism and to encourage mediocracy, which has placed an unfair burden of boredom and neglect upon our children.

Our children could be graduating High School with complete degrees in a trade or academic field.  The only reason they aren't is because too few people are working to solve the bigger problem.

Our systems aren't designed to work.

It's time to stop staunching the flow of life-force gushing from our educational systems.

It's time to start providing the absolute best opportunities to learn for everyone, so that together we can build a future for all humanity, a future we can be proud of.

Join me here as I cover my own experiences in education and the private work force, and how I think we can totally change education, so that kids can finally set free their full potential.
