Sleaze Land – Chapter 2 (It’s a Mad Mad World) Part 1
“He did not care what the end would be, and in his lucid moments overvalued his indifference.” Joseph Conrad
“No, you’re absolutely correct. Anyone willing to spread HPN3 like that deserves to be tried. Oh, yes, we have evidence of him hopping all over the globe, sans mask. Got pictures of him snuggling up with unsuspecting women all over the place. Women who clearly had no clue where he'd just been. Not to mention... with whom. And all of it sans mask," the short, chubby, blonde said into her Bluetooth.
“Yes. That is a very good point. It does stand to reason anyone who'd willingly spread HPN3 like that is likely spreading other things as well; possibly quite knowingly – if that’s part of his particular... perversion. Which, quite honestly - I wouldn't put past the man.”
Emma Jorgensen had heard all about the famed ‘dirtiest dick in Hollywood’, but having to deal with the legal fallout of his actions had never actually been something the thirty-nine-year-old attorney ever thought she’d have to do.
And yet here she was… dealing with it.
“Yes, I'm sure there's a trail he’s left behind. All you need to do now," she instructed her subordinate who was working in the field, "is find it.”
There was a slight pause and then Emma laughed, a good and solid laugh, and then she agreed, “Yes, or fake one.”
I mean… it’s not as if these trials were for real – or anything. They were just fake examples of what could happen if our society didn’t start shaping up and taking responsibility – where responsibility was due.
“Thanks. Call when you’ve got something. Oh, and Marta, I’d start in Mexico… if I was you.”
