I should like to think I am beautiful, though I know I am not.  For I am scarred in too many places to count.  My body a prison of defective systems, all shouting for control.  So instead, I search out beauty wherever I go.

Sometimes it has led me so terribly far astray...

Yet beauty still remains a tonic for my soul to this vary day. 

I should like to feel I created something beautiful one day, something folks might see and always after recall. 

It is a child's dream, I know.  And yet... it is within this simple wish that I have found peace and a great deal of relief.

I should like to think the world will cherish beauty one day - the way I do - as I witness it bursting forth from every nook and cranny.  If ever there was a wish - I wish to come true - it would be this - that beauty would eternally spring anew in the hearts and minds of men.

For happiness, after all, is the ability to see beauty once and always again.
