ART - THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE

For Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, Pablo Picasso, Joan Mitchell, Oscar-Claude Monet, David Hockney, Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Banksy...

and all the talented folks throughout the centuries forced to create their masterpieces in obscurity...

art is nothing more and nothing less than the ultimate language of expression.

Visual art in particular is a universal language that cannot be constrained via any measurements.

Like all art, visual art explodes the concept of individualism, and instead sings with the themes common to all human archetypes.

With art - the world of the abstract is the playground - if you are willing to explore outside the confines of structure...

where the ego can no longer reside, where old narratives go to die, and when they die...

it is to art we always turn.

Because there... within the image... within the striking images which provoke us, is the meaning we've been reaching for.

What art means to one - it will not mean to another - and yet, when art sings it sings with the clarity of a clarion call.

Reason cannot find a foothold upon the shifting ground of emotion - but art can.

Analytical as you may be, as logical as you may feel, it is more often from emotion that you move - and art - good art - forever moves you.

From the ages of myth to the trenches of historical tomes, art unifies the perspective, gives us structure upon the waves of a continually moving ocean.

Humanity cannot be encapsulated.

But it can be celebrated and recorded and that is precisely what visual art does.

It gathers the filaments of life, from every nook and corner, and blends it into something we can all hold onto, during our elegantly ephemeral life.

Art is the repository, not of facts, but of feelings, and that in itself is remarkable beyond expression.

When we ache in our hearts, art fills the void.  When we are bursting with joy to the point of pain, it is art that off-sheds some of that emotion, storing it safely to be called forth and enjoyed later.

Art is the thing that sets us on fire while it quenches our thirst.  Art is the antithesis of death, for it flaunts finality as if it were the only decent joke left to be told.

And great artists become conduits for something larger than themselves, they become The Voice of The Divine, they become the voice of order which fights the chaos that threatens to divide us all.

Great art brings people together, it amplifies voices seldom heard, and it creates new pathways of potential billions can choose to follow.

And great artists are Divine Interpreters, who allow God to both determine the message and interpret the meaning.

That is why their names still sing through the halls of our grandest places.

A society without art is a society famished to the point of extinction, for after purpose and meaning have fled, so to goes the essence of humanity.

Artists are so very important to our world, especially today, when most everyone is reaching... reaching... reaching for meaning, for purpose, for an understanding of a situation words can never adequately describe.

And we need great ones now more than ever.

Namaste,
The Storyteller

me i feel science is art too when i was a boy i fell in love with science and the more off brand theories of albert Einstein the theories of multiverse, time how it happens all at once, to how speed of light would require a bubble so the human body could handle it. these ideas were so much fun to know if they existed it would be amazing and how we dont even have the full access to are brains if we did what could we unlock would be so awesome what i though about as i read your great content keep up the great work

    One Law

Do you know the purpose of life?

Do you know the point of it all?

    Because, I believe I do.

It's called "The Law of One" and neither the hologram theory or quantum entanglement can work without it.

What is the Law of One?

Find out here, as I go over my own evolving personal understanding of this fundamental law of the universe, and how it applies to all of our modern sciences.

Have questions?  Please leave a comment and I will try to address it specifically, right here for everyone else to learn from.
