and I'll keep the pain
at bay

Sink deep into my reality
and I'll open up
my arms

Sink, deep into my divinity
and I'll keep you safe
from any harm

For such are my frivolous
charms

Think not of tomorrow
while I feed
from your today

Think not of time gone by
and your pleasures
I promise to convey

Just never mind
the rupturing
and the fracturing
of a world
restructuring

And focus instead
on what I'm offering

of bread and circuses

an alternative view...

until there's nothing
anyone can do.
